Shelter resurfacing kennels - needs to move several dogs ASAP - hounds, Beagles, smallish dogs, many more > > >

The Rockbridge SPCA is resurfacing their kennels on May 2nd and they desperately need help moving dogs out to make some room at the shelter. They need to EMPTY OUT their back kennels - 20 runs! They currently have three dogs heading to rescue but we need to move a LOT more. They can board some... but can't afford to board 17 dogs.
Please help us get these sweet dogs out. Dogs marked URGENT definitely need to move... they will not be held after the 2nd.

- OK here is the most updated list… only one dog is pending adoption. No one has gotten any hits. They cannot guarantee that these babies won’t be pts but say if we move 10 then it will be ok. Dogs marked urgent will be pts first if no one goes.

RESCUE PENDING APPROVAL OF FOSTER –
“Delmas” is an adorable male tricolor with ticking Hound mix. He’s 2 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. This sweet boy is a shelter favorite and he loves everyone and everything including other dogs and even cats. GREAT boy.
“Sam” is a handsome male 7 year old tricolor Treeing Walker Coonhound. He weighs about 70 lbs and is a quiet, nice boy who loves to be hugged.

URGENT! “Douglas” is a handsome neutered 2-3 year old male Doberman/Hound mix. He weighs about 60 lbs and has a short black coat with tan and white markings. He’s a sweet boy and seems fine with other dogs.
“Keeto” is a beautiful 8 month old male Shepherd/Husky mix. He is black with tan markings and is sweet, well mannered and loves hugs and kisses.
URGENT! “Mickey” is an adorable, sweet and happy neutered male Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is tricolor with great markings on his back that look like Mickey Mouse! Mickey is 2 years old and weighs 65 lbs. He’s sweet and happy.
URGENT! “Milton” is a neutered male tricolor Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is 8 months old and weighs 40 lbs. Milton is good with other dogs and is very cute!
“Pepper” is a spayed female Shepherd mix. She is black with tan markings and is 1 year old. She weighs 45 lbs. Pepper has had a rough life but still is willing to forgive humans. She loves women and is a little more reserved with men but not aggressive. Pepper is good with other dogs.
“Sadie” is a beautiful fawn and white female Pitbull. She is 9 months old and weighs 30 lbs. Like most shelters, Rockbridge has a very hard time placing Pitbulls and Sadie is hoping for some rescue help! She is a nice girl and is good with other dogs.
URGENT! “Gina” is a gorgeous spayed female Pitbull mix. She is a very pretty brindle with white markings and you have to see her face! Gina is a nice girl and is good with other dogs.
“Martha” is an absolutely precious 5-6 year old female Bluetick Coonhound. Looking for a quiet Hound? Martha is your girl! She has the usual Bluetick markings and weighs about 55 lbs. She is spayed and is a shelter favorite – a wonderful girl!
URGENT! “Goober” is a male Pitbull/Bulldog/something mix – you just have to see this adorable, silly looking boy. Goober is white with brindle patches and has a Pitbull head on a stocky little body. He seems fine with other dogs, is 1 year old and weighs about 50 lbs. This guy is a big mush!
“Layla” is a pretty sable girl with cream markings. She is 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. She is sweet, friendly and energetic. Layla will chase cats, and though she’s not aggressive with them she’d probably do best in a home with no cats!
“Sampson” is a gorgeous 1-2 year old male Husky mix. He has a thick dark chocolate coat with cream markings and weighs about 75 lbs. Sampson is a big strong boy, but he’s a sweetheart. He loves kids but may knock little ones over.
Two male Pug/Beagle mix brothers, no names yet. These cute guys are 7 months old and weigh about 20 lbs. They are scared but sweet. One is black with tan and white markings and one is tan and white.
“Russell” is a WONDERFUL neutered male Redtick Coonhound. He is 3 years old and is sweet and soft with gorgeous, expressive eyes! He’s a shelter favorite.
Cute and chubby neutered male Shepherd mix, no name yet. Sable with tan markings, 3-4 years old. This cute boy weighs about 45 lbs and is a sweetie.
“Sara Smiles” is a lovely tricolor with ticking 1 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. She weighs 45-50 lbs and yes… she really does smile!
Cute 6-7 month old female reddish tan Pitbull mix, no name yet. This sweet little girl weighs about 40 lbs.
Adorable tricolor 7 month old female Collie/Hound mix, no name yet. This sweet girl came from a neglectful situation and is looking for a fresh start. She weighs about 45 lbs.

Two adorable 6-8 month old Shepherd mix brothers, no names yet. One is very dark sable with tan markings and the other is a lighter sable with tan markings. They are sweet and weigh about 45 lbs.
GORGEOUS adult male yellow Lab mix, no name yet. Sweet boy.
